Palmer & Co is, first and foremost, a history of people passionate about vines, vineyards and wine and who share a certain concept of excellence. This history is full of meaning, with international scope and a carefully orchestrated ‘savoir-faire’ that has been transmitted over the years since 1947. Palmer & Co is solidly established on 415 hectares of vineyards encompassing around forty crus. Over 200 hectares are classified as Grands and Premiers Crus in the Montagne de Reims area, a historical landmark zone that bears the roots of the first vines that grew in the Champagne region. The Côte de Sézanne area, the Côte des Bar and the Marne Valley, complete this mosaic. During the blending process, they account for the elegance and balance of the iconic Palmer & Co style. Representing a true search for harmony and balance that was initiated by the 7 founder winegrowers, Palmer & Co has become a champagne house of reference today and is well prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
The Nectar Reserve reconnects with the tradition of the great dessert wines. A generous dosage enables it to achieve a perfect aromatic expression. The ample and creamy palate is underpinned by an elegant acidity that gives a character to the whole that is both sapid and fresh. A true explosion of fruity notes such as apricot, pear and some tropical touches of mango and caramelised pineapple subtly enhanced by a hint of citrus from pink grapefruit.
