Hollick Wines is a small, independent, family-owned winery, located on one of the original John Riddoch Coonawarra selections in the cool South East corner of South Australia. Planting of the classic varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling began in 1975 under the guidance of Ian Hollick. The first commercial wine under the Hollick label — a Cabernet Sauvignon — was released in 1983. Successful vintages followed, with wines across the Hollick range winning numerous medals.
Vibrant purple with crimson hues, the wine will develop brick red hues with bottle maturation. Clean and fresh aromas of violets, plums and blackberries are enhanced by dark chocolate notes. A wine of elegance and instant appeal. Generously fruity with a predominance of plums, blueberry and raspberry flavours. The palate is further enhanced by underlying flavours of chocolate and liquorice.
