Aromas of honeysuckle, ginger, baked pear, spice, tropical fruit and toasted brioche signal the wine’s pedigree. The rich, round palate is balanced by superb acidity and graced with notes of white fruit, crème brûlée and toasted almond that linger through an extraordinarily long, silky finish.

The bouquet shows tart green apples, pineapple and lemongrass, with a honeyed nutty edge. Tropical and tangy on the palate, with layers of lemon cream, pineapple and buttery toast, it finishes with a hint of sweetness but plenty of acidity.

An elegant, finely etched Blanc de Noirs. Although a touch on the restrained side and a bit lean on the palate, it is a nonetheless a complete and wonderfully well-crafted wine with a very fine, creamy mousse, a cleansing bias to crispness and a rich and refined finish that seems to go on forever.
